The construction and project management division of ACES provides customers with a complete mechanical ventilation solution. Including:
The Qantas Campus Refurbishment project consisted of a new Air Conditioning and Ventilation System for four buildings and the addition of a covered street, interconnecting three of the buildings called the HUB. The HUB has a tempered environment consisting of strategically located units and underfloor heating.
All the buildings are air-conditioned using air handling units (AHUs) for common areas and fan coil units (FCUs) for meeting rooms supplied with chilled and hot water from a tri-generation plant. Variable air volume devices (VAVs) are utilised to control the temperatures in the open areas. The equipment is monitored and controlled by a building management system (BMS).
The project was carried out over a two-year period with final completion January 2014. By planning the work in a staged manner, the Qantas offices were kept operational during the refurbishment.
ACES is proud to have been a key contributor to this prestigious project.
